Warranty Policy
Our general approach to workmanship and parts warranties for vehicle repairs and servicing.
This information is provided for transparency and does not replace your statutory rights. Please contact us if you need clarification about how a term applies to your vehicle or booking.
1. Labour warranty
Unless a different written warranty applies to the job, we provide a 30-day labour warranty for the work carried out. The warranty period and scope will be confirmed on the relevant invoice or job documentation.
2. Parts warranty
Parts supplied by us are covered by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty and its conditions. The period varies by part and supplier and may commonly be between 3 and 12 months; the specific terms for your part will take precedence.
3. Exclusions and limitations
A warranty will not normally cover wear-and-tear items, damage caused by misuse or neglect, faults unrelated to the original repair, or customer-supplied parts. It may not cover consequential failures where the cause is unrelated to our work. Any exclusion is subject to applicable law and your statutory rights.
4. Making a claim
Please contact us promptly if you believe work covered by a warranty has failed. Provide proof of service, the vehicle registration and a description of the issue. We may need to inspect the vehicle before deciding what action is appropriate. Where reasonably possible, contact us before authorising another repairer to carry out remedial work, unless urgent action is needed for safety.
5. Statutory rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you have questions, contact info@vicprosautocentre.com or call 01234 708700.
